MONEI Bizum

To accept Bizum payments through MONEI in your Shopify store you simply need to install and configure MONEI Pay · Bizum Shopify App.

This app adds a single Bizum option to your Shopify checkout. When customers select it, they're redirected to confirm the Bizum payment and then returned to your store. It handles Bizum only — to also offer cards, wallets, or other methods, install the matching app alongside it. See the Shopify apps overview to compare apps.

Before you begin​

Before installing, make sure that:

To verify test payments, check MONEI Dashboard → Payments (switch to test mode to see test payments).

Install​

Installation steps​

  1. Click the link above to install the app directly.

  2. You will be redirected to the MONEI dashboard. Log in if you are not already logged in. On the Connect screen for Bizum, complete the connection.

  3. You will then be redirected to Shopify → Settings → Payments. Click Activate to enable the payment method.

The payment-method toggles on this screen only show or hide icons

The payment methods listed here have on/off toggles, but they control only which icons appear at checkout — switching one on or off does not enable or disable the method. Which methods you can actually accept is controlled in your MONEI Dashboard → Settings → Payment methods.

Configure​

Accessing configuration from the dashboard​

Go to Settings → Payments → Integrations → Shopify.

The page links every MONEI app you can install, then lists Connected Shopify stores — the connections in your current test or live mode. Use the mode switcher to see the connections in the other mode. On a row, open the ··· menu:

  • Configure — turns test mode on or off for that connection, and assigns a MONEI store to each checkout country.
  • Open in Shopify — opens the Shopify activation screen for that app.

To disconnect a Shopify store, uninstall the MONEI app from your Shopify admin.

Accessing from Shopify Admin​

You can also open the MONEI integration from Shopify:

  • Settings → Apps → MONEI Pay · Bizum → Open App, or
  • Settings → Payments → MONEI Pay · Bizum → More actions → Manage

Uninstall or move to another MONEI account​

To uninstall MONEI Pay · Bizum:

  1. In Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Payments and click MONEI Pay · Bizum.
  2. Click Deactivate and confirm.
  3. Click More actions → Uninstall. This option shows only after you deactivate the app.

To move the store to another MONEI account, for example after a change of legal entity, uninstall the app, log in to the new MONEI account, and install the app again. Then click Activate in Settings → Payments.

Earlier orders stay on the previous account

Orders paid before you uninstall belong to the MONEI account that processed them. Refunds and captures of these orders made from Shopify Admin may not reach MONEI. Make them from the MONEI dashboard of that account.
