MONEI Onsite

To accept payments directly on your Shopify store you simply need to install and configure MONEI Onsite Shopify App.

MONEI Onsite adds credit and debit card fields directly inside Shopify's native checkout, so customers pay without leaving your store. It handles cards only — to also offer Bizum, MB WAY, Multibanco, or digital wallets, install the matching app alongside it. See the Shopify apps overview to compare apps.

Before you begin

Before installing, make sure that:

• At least one payment method is enabled in your MONEI Dashboard → Settings → Payments → Payment methods.
• You are in the correct mode: The app connects to the test or live mode you are currently using in the MONEI dashboard. Use the mode switcher in the dashboard header to switch between test and live mode, then install the app when you are already in the mode you want. If you are not yet approved for live, you can switch to test mode to try out the apps.

To verify test payments, check MONEI Dashboard → Payments (switch to test mode to see test payments).

Installation steps

1. Click the link above to install the app directly.

2. You will be redirected to the MONEI dashboard. Log in if you are not already logged in. On the Connect screen for MONEI Onsite, complete the connection.

   

3. You will then be redirected to Shopify → Settings → Payments. Click Activate to enable the payment method.

   

The payment-method toggles on this screen only show or hide icons

The payment methods listed here have on/off toggles, but they control only which icons appear at checkout — switching one on or off does not enable or disable the method. Which methods you can actually accept is controlled in your MONEI Dashboard → Payment methods.

Configure

Accessing configuration from the dashboard

Go to Settings → Payments → Integrations → Shopify.

The page links every MONEI app you can install, then lists Connected Shopify stores — the connections in your current test or live mode. Use the mode switcher to see the connections in the other mode. On a row, open the ··· menu:

• Configure — turns test mode on or off for that connection, and assigns a MONEI store to each checkout country.
• Open in Shopify — opens the Shopify activation screen for that app.

To disconnect a Shopify store, uninstall the MONEI app from your Shopify admin.

Accessing from Shopify Admin

You can also open the MONEI integration from Shopify:

• Settings → Apps → MONEI Onsite → Open App, or
• Settings → Payments → MONEI Onsite → More actions → Manage

Before you go live

• Switch to live (production) mode in the MONEI dashboard and ensure the app is configured for live mode.
• Ensure you have at least one active payment method (Settings → Payments → Payment methods) in your MONEI account.

Find your orders in Shopify

After a payment, match it to its Shopify order using the MONEI Order ID — see Find a Shopify order.
