# connectMasterAccount

Connects the current account as a sub-account of the partner (master) account that owns `promoCode`. Fails when the account already has a master account. Arguments: - `promoCode`: Promo code of the partner account. - `externalId`: Partner-assigned ID of this account. Required when the partner requires it. Stored as `externalId`. - `externalHash`: Hex-encoded HMAC-SHA256 of `externalId`, keyed with the partner's API key. Required with `externalId`.
