# verifyCustomDomain

Checks for certificate validation and, once issued, provisions the custom domain and returns `customDomainConfig.distributionDnsRecord`. Call after each DNS change. Transitions `status` to `SUCCESS` when the domain is reachable, or `FAILED` if validation never completes.
