3D Secure flow of a card payment. Set only when the payment was authorized with 3D Secure. The dashboard shows it as 3D Secure flow.

• CHALLENGE - The issuer asked the shopper for an extra step (biometrics, a one-time code or a similar Strong Customer Authentication factor).
• FRICTIONLESS - The issuer authenticated the shopper in the background from the device data. The shopper did no extra step.
• FRICTIONLESS_CHALLENGE - The device data was not enough, so the issuer also asked the shopper for a challenge. The dashboard shows it as Frictionless and challenge.
• DIRECT - Neither a frictionless step nor a challenge took place. The dashboard explains it as no Strong Customer Authentication required because of low risk.
