Delete Customer
DELETE/customers/:id
Deletes a customer and every payment method it owns.
This is the operation to use for a data-erasure request: the buyer's saved payment methods go with the customer, in one call.
Refused while the customer is still billing:
The request fails with 409 when a subscription that is ACTIVE, TRIALING, PAUSED or PAST_DUE still names this customer. Cancel those subscriptions first.
What is kept:
Payments and charges already made are not deleted. They keep the copy of the customer's details taken at the time, because they are a financial record.
