How you connect MONEI to your website depends on how your store is built. We have plugins for popular e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and Wix. Or you can integrate MONEI with your custom-built e-commerce website.

For custom integrations, you need an API key — a code used to call the MONEI API and identify your account. Each MONEI account has a unique API key.

To create your API key:

1. Go to **API Access** in your settings by [clicking here](https://dashboard.monei.com/settings/api)
2. Click **Create API Key**
3. Your API key is generated
