# How to configure payment methods in MONEI

Once you've [finished setting up your account](https://docs.monei.com/get-started/get-started-with-monei/.md) and have been approved, credit card payments and digital wallets including [Apple Pay](https://docs.monei.com/payment-methods/apple-pay/.md), [Google Pay](https://docs.monei.com/payment-methods/google-pay/.md), and [Click to Pay](https://docs.monei.com/payment-methods/click-to-pay/.md) will be activated in your account. But it's important to configure more payment methods to offer your customers their preferred payment options.

Then you can follow these steps to configure more payment methods:

1. Run a test by creating your first transaction with the [Pay By Link feature](https://dashboard.monei.com/payments?pay-by-link=1)
2. Then go to [Setting → Payment methods](https://dashboard.monei.com/settings/payment-methods) and follow the instructions in your dashboard (there are also support articles linked below for each payment method)
3. On the **Payment method configuration** screen, choose the payment method you’d like to set up, and click **Configure**. For some payment methods, you will need to contact support for configuration.

**Below is a list of configuration instructions for each payment method:**

**Card and digital wallet payments are configured automatically**, and you can continue setting up more payment methods. If you bring your own acquirer or processor, you must have a [TPV Virtual](https://docs.monei.com/onboarding/connect-redsys-tpv-virtual/.md#what-is-tpv-virtual) to configure payment methods.
