How to test your integrations
To test your integrations you need to switch to a test mode using a switch in the header of your MONEI Dashboard.
- Generate your test API key and get your test Account ID in MONEI Dashboard → Settings → API Access.
- Configure your payment methods using test credentials in MONEI Dashboard → Settings → Payment Methods
Account ID and API key you generate in test mode are different from the live (production) mode and can only be used for testing purposes.
Test a payment
In test mode, go to Payments and use the Pay by Link feature to create a test payment. Email the link to yourself and click Pay to see how the payment page looks and works.
For an e-commerce platform, follow its guide: Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Wix, or Adobe Commerce. For a custom site, build a custom checkout.
Test card numbers
Genuine card information cannot be used in test mode. Instead, use any of the following test card numbers.
- For all test card numbers use 12/34 as an expiration date and 123 as code

Test Bizum phone numbers
For all Bizum tests, the phone number to be used is +34500000000

In test environment Bizum only supports transactions below 5 EUR
Test Bizum Payout transactions
You can also test Bizum Payout transactions (outgoing payments to users).
In test mode, all Payout transactions with an amount below 10 EUR will be approved automatically.

Bizum Payout tests run only in test mode and do not generate real fund transfers — use your test Account ID and API key when sending Payout requests via the API.
